I purchased this as a gift for my sister-in-law, for Christmas. I though I had bought an amazing gift. She thought it was more than amazing, she was so happy, and so was her daughter. They spent their summers at a camp, as counselors, called Fleur De Lis. This was perfect!

These puzzles can seem expensive but if you look at the hours of quality time spent doing them it makes sense. These are artisan puzzles. Beautiful and fascinating.

Bold colors and a challenging puzzle!The media could not be loaded. Â This is a beautiful puzzle. The pieces are thick and bright. Some of the pieces are very small and others have adorable shapes, all the pieces have unique intricately cut shapes . Overall it’s a challenging puzzle, between the different shapes and repeating colors of the design, which is fun for my evenings. The box is sturdy and the burlap bag handy for storing or in my case to help move it to a different table so the pups cannot reach the pieces. This is a really nice gift-able puzzle for a puzzle lover, I am enjoying it immensely!

Rewarding, Beautiful Puzzle! These figured wood puzzles are a challenge. The pieces do not snap together like a traditional puzzle but rather hook together using loops and curlicues. We are puzzle enthusiasts and enjoy doing this style on occasion.The pieces were nicely thick and had interesting shapes. You can occasionally get two pieces hooked together that don’t actually go together, but look as if they should, but we’ve found this to be true of all the wooden puzzles we’ve  done to date.Good gift for puzzle fans.

A Fancy Challenge! Both the design and the fancy wooden box and pieces gives off the impression that this is an heirloom puzzle that's going to be around for a very long time. The pieces look delicate but they are quite sturdy, yet small. I suggest you use the burlap sack or a puzzle table to help you grip and place the pieces. The colors are vibrant which is impressive considering it's wood. The puzzle is well worth the cost and I know it's going to be a very fun challenge.

Nice puzzle !!! Price may seem a little high for a puzzle but believe me it is worth it. Puzzle came nicely in a wooden box, not cheap carboard. Love that all pieces are wooden and click together. Different shapes do make it a little harder also than your standard puzzle. Would make a nice gift or pass along to other friends after you are done.

Incredible puzzle! The wood puzzle is very well constructed and is very detailed. It comes in a nice box and includes a bag for the pieces and an example picture to assist you . This puzzle is for the adult puzzle enthusiast. It will not be an easy puzzle and will be quite the challenge. Perfect gift for the puzzle lovers in your life.

Gorgeous puzzle! This is my first wooden puzzle and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I wasn’t disappointed when I opened this one! The box it comes in is lovely. That alone makes it very giftable. The shaped pieces are so much fun. I can’t wait to finish assembling it! Great entertainment and will be fun for a family puzzle time.

Pretty fancy puzzle for a bargain priceI picked this Fleur de Lis puzzle from a few others that ZenChalet is also offering - the larger piece count is in our usual range, but I thought the extra edges would help solving. We have a few other similar style puzzles - wooden with intricate piece shapes and some recognizable "bonus" shapes. Those have all been from one premium brand.This puzzle is not quite up to that competitor's quality, but the price is also significantly lower. The wood for these is several bonded layers, which seems like it will hold up fine. The aspects that have a real affect on working the puzzle are that the pieces fit together relatively loosely. A correct placement into several other pieces often required shifting them all around to properly fit. The hook and bulb shapes that form many connections are also roughly the same throughout, so it was easy to join pieces together that were not correct. And there are many 'smooth' connections that don't interlock at all.The puzzle's abstract and symmetrical design add some difficulty, but aside from the novelty piece shapes and their adjacent pieces, the piece shapes are also generally mirrored. Noting that and finding the pairs is a help in solving, but it's a bit like doing the same puzzle twice.The included image poster is a bit small, but was clear enough for our use. Color fidelity between the pieces, poster, and box is very good. The included burlap storage bag is a nice feature, and the box itself is very much in the style of a wooden puzzle - it can be taken apart into 6 flat pieces. The image on the box is also cut out into the puzzle shape - a nice touch.I think we'll still indulge in a premium wooden puzzle occasionally, but if you enjoy ZenChalet's colorful/abstract designs, it's well worth its price.

Amazing! I’ve always wanted to do a wooden puzzle like this! This looks challenging, and I’m excited to give it a go! It came in a wooden box, and included a poster of the design, a carrying bag for the pieces and a card with information. The pieces are very thick and are uniquely shaped! I will update my review once i’ts been put together!! Challenge Accepted! LOL

Beautiful and elegant wooden puzzle! This fleur de puzzle is gorgeous. The pieces are wood, and their shapes are not your normal puzzle shapes. The overall shape of the puzzle takes it over the top.Even the box is beautiful, with a miniature version of the puzzle painted in an inset shaped like the puzzle on its front.This puzzle would make a great gift for an adult or a child (who has enough patience for a puzzle!). The finished product could be glued together and hung on the wall as art, it's so pretty.

These puzzles are awesome! I enjoy these kinds of puzzles very much. Finding the special pieces are my favorite. The material is very sturdy. Pictures & colors are great. Easy to glue after you done.

A beautiful puzzle, perfect for the puzzle addict who likes a challenge! This puzzle is beautifully colored and the fleur de lis shape is quite challenging for those who love puzzles. Each puzzle piece has an interesting shape, unlike the standard puzzles we are used to working. Much more challenging puzzling activity here. You really have to concentrate, and study all the pieces as you begin fitting them together. I love the way each piece is precisely cut and fits smoothly with the next piece. I have only started working on it, but I am hoping what it says in the description is true, that it will be "Easy to lift without falling apart to display as wooden wall art adding colors and texture to any home decor" I love to display my puzzles when completed, and am looking forward to that with this one. The wooden box the puzzle pieces come in is a nice storage container as well. This is a well-crafted item.

beautiful colors! I’m from Louisiana and love all things "fleur de lis". The colors in this puzzle are bright and beautiful and resemble a "stained glass" look. I've only just started putting the puzzle together, but the wood pieces are very good quality. I plan to glue and frame it when I'm done. This would make a great gift for any puzzle lover.
